This is not a sponsored post, it is also not a prescription or endorsement, always talk with your healthcare provider before starting a new supplement to see if it’s right for you.
If you’re looking for a new high-calorie, high-protein supplement, Global Health Products, Inc. has just released one that might be worth checking out. Liquacel HC is the newest product that I’ve been able to see. Not surprisingly from this company as they seem to be very creative in the new products they put out there.
In just 4-5 ounces, it provides:
- 250 calories to help support weight maintenance and recovery
- 20 grams of protein to assist with muscle preservation
- A lower volume than many traditional supplements, making it easier to consume
One standout feature is that it comes in fruit flavors, which is a refreshing change from the usual vanilla or chocolate-based options. For those who struggle with the heavier, dairy-based supplements, this could be an interesting alternative.
One of the biggest challenges with high-calorie supplements is volume tolerance—many require drinking 250mL or more, which can be difficult for some individuals. This new option offers a more concentrated dose of nutrition in a smaller serving, which may be beneficial for those with poor appetite or difficulty finishing larger drinks.
It’s always interesting to see new products enter the market, especially ones that take into account the unique needs of older adults and those requiring medical nutrition support. While I haven’t personally tested this product yet, I’ll be keeping an eye on how it’s received.
